Congratulations and best wishes in your new post at the ICC.
I was in one of you Political law classes in the UP College of Law where I not only learned political l;aw but was also immensely entertained by your wit.
I also learned trial technique which serves me well to this day in my law practice.
I wish I could work with you at the ICC. I had previously applied before we became a state party to the charter but was told that although I was qualified for the post of prosecutor they had other applicants with better qualifications..Maybe I should learn French although I would have thought that 9.5 years as a prosecutor was good enough.
Anyway your appointment is good enough for me. I am certain you will make us all proud. God speed.

I am not an Ilonggo but I am representing in behalf of our there brothers and sisters Ilonggos,in New Ilo-ilo, Kidapukan, Pangantukan, Bukidnon.
Ma'am with our initiative a European company donated 40%
of the actual cost for the Solarization of this place mention above; New Ilo-ilo, Kidapukan, Pangantukan, Bukidnon.
They live in darkness; so after my trip over there last Jan 16 to 19 2009, I was motivated to initiate a move to look for donors who may share the burden of providing Solar Power to the people.
The Knights of Rizal global, Europe, U.S.A and Canada is
spearheading this cause. Besides the Solar, they Knights will visit the place for the installation and connection and at the same time organize this farming community inorganize a cooperative and the Knights will provide them livelihood.
The Honorable Mar Roxas pledge to provide fund.
Ma'am we need 2 million pesos for the purchase of materials and accessories, transportation and labor cost and other possible expenses.
I send email to a certain Dir. Mylene Capongcol of DOE-RRP
that we need their support related to the funds that we required, if they finally accepted our request, then donations
will be deposited as initial fund for the farmers cooperative.
Ma'am we assure you that this people here in Canada, U.S.A. and Europe of the Knights of Rizal is focus on a doable and sustainable livelihood for some of our less fortunate kababayan.
I am sure so many pretend to feel their grievances and sorrows but for sure it is only lips service since they need their vote for 2010.

Thank you for filing the resolution for the thresher shark in Batangas Bay. Is there a committee looking into this already? Please remind Sen Zubiri and Sen Pia Cayetano to look into this issue because until now the threshers are being caught and sold in the market according to local newspaper, Balikas. Is it possible for you to champion this conservation advocacy to protect not only the threshers but other marine wildlife in our Philippine waters?. We have the responsibility to care for God's gift that we have to pass on to the next generation. Maybe you can make a privilege speech and I can give you more important information. Please help protect our nature's wonders. Our leaders seem to just do lip service when media interviews them. I believe you can raise this to a noble level and I pray that you do.
